The Diamond Standard

All orders processed by Diamond Floors will receive the Diamond Standard. This ensures that the following criteria are met:

  1. Your Order will be project managed from Start to Finish. This means that you will deal with one person all the way through, and he/ she will be point of contact throughout the order process. You will be able to contact this person at any time, and if you wish, you can request your Project Manager's Mobile phone number for out of hours contact.
  2. We guarantee to only offer you flooring that is suitable for your needs. We view every installation as a long term investment for our Customers, and therefore have no desire in supplying you with a product that will wear out or struggle to perform in an acceptable manner.
  3. We will always offer to let you take samples home, as the lighting conditions in your premises may differ to those in the showrooms.
  4. We will always offer to visit your premises to carry out a full site survey. This will include taking accurate measurements, discussing your requirements in full, and if necessary, carrying out a dampness assessment. We will also gauge the condition of the sub-floor, and advise on any remedial work that needs to be carried out.
  5. We will always offer you a specific fitting date, and give you our best guess at what time your installer will arrive. The only specific timed appointment for our installers that we can offer is First Call of the day, after that it will depend on how the previous jobs go as to what time we will arrive.
  6. We will only allocate installers to your job who are fully trained and able to carry out the work. We ensure that our installers are fully trained, carry public liability insurance, and complete their work as efficiently, tidily, and safely as possible.
  7. It is inevitable that unforeseen problems may occur during your installation. We will always discuss any such problems with you, and gain your authority for any extra charges necessary prior to proceeding.
  8. We will bag up and remove all waste generated by ourselves during the installation of your flooring. This does not include the existing flooring unless specifically requested and paid for prior to the installation date.

  

***The Diamond Service - £9.99 per sq m***

We now offer a Complete Diamond service when we install your flooring. The Essence of this is that you do not need to do ANYTHING to the room(s) that are to be fitted. For £9.99 per square metre, (Minimum 10 square metres) we will move all your furniture*, uplift* and dispose of your existing floor-covering, and vacuum the new flooring once it is fitted. Please let us know at the point of sale if you wish to have the Diamond Service on your new floor.

*We reserve the right in certain cases to increase the cost of uplifting the old flooring. This will be discussed with you at the point of sale, and will apply to any particularly well stuck down or unhygienic flooring. We also reserve the right to charge extra or decline to move very heavy, large, or unsafe items of furniture (such as Fish tanks, Pianos, large wardrobes etc). Wherever possible, this will be discussed with you at the time of measure. We would, of course, expect personal items such as clothes to be removed prior to our arrival.
